Strong leaders balance high expectations with compassionate support, empowering others through self-awareness, integrity, and service. Our January Illuminated Ivy, Stacey Jones, exemplifies this leadership with focus, commitment, and undeniable value.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Stacey earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University and an MBA from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. She is a Certified Treasury Professional and a member of the Tampa Chapter of the Association for Financial Professionals. Her career spans financial institutions across the Midwest and Southeast, and for more than a decade she has lived and worked in Central Florida. Currently, Stacey serves as Vice President of Product Compliance at Citi Bank.
Initiated into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated in 2015, Stacey has faithfully served Gamma Theta Omega Chapter in numerous leadership roles, including Chair of the Audit Committee, Chair of the Arts Committee, and Chapter Financial Officer. She currently serves as Chair of the Grants Committee, bringing valuable grant-writing and grant-management experience gained through her work with multiple organizations.
Stacey’s leadership directly aligns with our 2026 Strategic Plan priority to increase Community Outreach and Impact. Through her perseverance and advocacy, she secured a partnership with Feeding Tampa Bay—an alliance that supports the successful implementation of our Senior Computer Literacy Program by providing both a targeted audience and a welcoming site for this grant-funded initiative. For several years, Stacey has led this program, which empowers senior adults by building confidence and independence in navigating today’s digital world.
Her talents are also recognized beyond the chapter. For the past four years, Stacey has served on the South Atlantic Region Risk and Compliance Committee. She is a sought-after guest speaker, engaging audiences from youth groups to college classrooms, and has served on community and academic boards, including After School All Stars of Tampa Bay and the Corporate Advisory Board for the University of South Florida’s Muma College of Business.
Outside of service and leadership, Stacey is a self-proclaimed foodie who enjoys exploring the vibrant Tampa Bay culinary scene. In her free time, she loves gardening, golfing, and walking local trails. She finds inspiration through both domestic and international travel and treasures time at home with the love of her life—Cleveland, her handsome rescue dog who firmly believes he is human.
We are proud to recognize Stacey Jones as our January Illuminated Ivy and are grateful for the light she brings to the Foundation, our community, and all those she serves.
