This October, the Ivy Enrichment Foundation proudly recognizes Stakeholder Caridad Arenas Johnson as our Illuminated Ivy. With a legacy of more than 50 years in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Stakeholder Caridad exemplifies what it means to serve with dedication, love, and purpose.

For the past three years, she has poured her time and talents into the Reading Is More Than Fundamental (RIMTF) program, including two years as a tutor. In the past year, she has taken the helm as program leader—becoming a strong advocate for the children of Broward Elementary School. Her leadership and commitment helped earn the RIMTF Committee recognition at Broward’s Volunteer Recognition Ceremony, a testament to her impact and the power of consistent, heartfelt service.

As a retired educator, Stakeholder Caridad has devoted her life to teaching, mentoring, and uplifting young minds. Even in retirement, her influence continues to shape the lives of the next generation of leaders. Her work reminds us all that service has no age limit, and that the wisdom and strength of our Golden Girls continue to light the way forward.

The Ivy Enrichment Foundation is deeply grateful for her unwavering dedication and proud to celebrate her as our October Illuminated Ivy.
