A Legacy of Service in Tampa Bay Since 1979
Established in 1979, as Gamma Theta Omega, Inc., our organization was formed as the charitable arm of the Gamma Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
In 2022, Gamma Theta Omega, Inc. rebranded as Ivy Enrichment Foundation of Tampa Bay,Incorporated. While our name evolved, our mission as a 501c3 non-profit remained steadfast. Ivy Enrichment Foundation of Tampa Bay remains committed to enhancing the quality of life in the Tampa Bay community through scholarships, educational enrichment, community outreach, and programs that expand opportunities and open doors for future development. Through strategic partnerships and member engagement, the Foundation supports diverse programs that focus on enhancing literacy, leadership, life skills, and STEM education, empowering individuals of all ages to achieve personal and academic growth.
For decades, we have partnered with Gamma Theta Omega chapter and other community organizations throughout the Tampa Bay area to advance scholarship fundraising efforts, provide youth development programming, and host the Miss Teenage Tampa Pageant. Our work has
supported students pursuing higher education, provided meaningful programming to empower youth, assisted elderly citizens, and delivered resources to underserved and economically disadvantaged communities across the region.
Our signature fundraising initiative is the PINC Carpet Gala (formerly the PINK Carpet Gala), a hallmark event that has helped to sustain our scholarship and community impact efforts. Since its inception Ivy Enrichment Foundation of Tampa Bay has served the Tampa Bay area with a legacy of excellence — now strengthened by elevated programming, strategic partnerships, and a renewed focus on measurable impact.
