

SCHOLARSHIPS
Since 1979, Ivy Enrichment Foundation of Tampa Bay has provided scholarship opportunities to help local students achieve their college and career goals. With the support of our community and in partnership with the Hillsborough Education Foundation and Gamma Theta Omega Chapter, we offer several scholarship opportunities for Tampa Bay students.

Ivy Enrichment Foundation Scholarship Program
This scholarship program was created to expand educational access and uplift students who are actively shaping their futures. By investing in academic excellence, service, and leadership, the Foundation helps open doors to college, career readiness, and long-term success.
Eligible Student Pathways
Applicants must plan to attend one of the following as a full-time student:

A Historically Black College or University (HBCU)

Any accredited U.S. college or university
-
A technical or vocational college
-
Hillsborough Community College
Student Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

Be a Hillsborough County resident
-
Be a graduating Hillsborough County high school senior
-
Be accepted into an accredited 2-year or 4-year institution (depending on scholarship)

Have a minimum GPA of 2.5
-
Complete the required scholarship essay
-
Demonstrate community service and extracurricular involvement

Total Awards: 14 one-time scholarships annually

Claudia Silas Scholarship Fund

Overview & Legacy
The Claudia Silas Scholarship honors the extraordinary life and legacy of a woman deeply committed to the transformative power of education. As a former Head Start administrator and home economics teacher at Middleton High School, Claudia Silas dedicated her career to uplifting students and strengthening her community through learning.
Beyond her professional roles, Ms. Silas quietly supported the college aspirations of at least 25 students by personally funding their tuition — a remarkable act of generosity she carried out with humility.
This scholarship continues her legacy by supporting undergraduate students majoring in Education, empowering future teachers who will inspire, mentor, and shape the minds of generations to come.
Eligible Student Pathway

Must attend a Florida-based not-for-profit college or university
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Submit a 500-word essay

Complete the online scholarship application

Provide an official or sealed academic transcript

Provide community service verification (minimum 25 hours)
