Mervelle’s leadership has left an undeniable mark, especially in her role as Chairman of the Capital Campaign Fundraiser, where she laid the groundwork for sustainable growth. Thanks to her efforts, the Foundation is positioned to continue its mission of service with stakeholder-driven support for years to come.

Her commitment extends far beyond fundraising. As a former table sponsor for both the Bling & Jeans Scholarship Fundraiser and the Pink Carpet Gala, Mervelle has continually prioritized giving back to the community. Her work as Co-Chairman for the 49th Miss Teenage Tampa Scholarship Pageant—built upon her leadership experience as 2nd Vice President of Gamma Theta Omega Chapter—helped elevate the event’s success and legacy.

Entrepreneurial by spirit, Mervelle also launched Velle’s Poccasions, LLC, a boutique in Springhill, Florida. There, she highlights the creative talents of authors and artists, providing thoughtful gifts to participants of the Ivy PACE Connection BOCC Grant Program.

Beyond her professional and community impact, Mervelle serves as a caregiver to her father and is supported by her son in managing her growing business. Her mother, also a Soror, surely inspired her dedication to a life of service.
