February Illuminated Ivy: Stakeholder Dierdre White Frederick

The Ivy Enrichment Foundation of Tampa Bay, Inc. proudly recognizes Stakeholder Dierdre White Frederick as our February Illuminated Ivy, celebrating her profound dedication to service, leadership, and community impact.

A Spring 1990 initiate of Beta Theta Chapter at the University of Washington, Stakeholder Frederick’s leadership journey within Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. began early, having been a Domestic Travel Tour Winner in 1989 and later attending the inaugural Leadership Conference as a special guest of Madame Supreme Mary Shy Scott in 1991. Inspired by her mother, Dr. Earnestine Huffman White (Gamma Kappa, Tuskegee, 1964, Ivy Beyond the Wall), Stakeholder Frederick continues to uphold a legacy of excellence and service.

As a corporate attorney with nearly 29 years of experience, Stakeholder Frederick has made an indelible mark in the legal profession, practicing across financial institutions, tax law, and general corporate law. She holds licenses in Florida, Illinois, and the District of Columbia, showcasing her versatility and expertise in the field.

Beyond her legal career, Stakeholder Frederick is deeply committed to education, community service, and social advocacy. She created and fully funded the Dr. Earnestine Huffman White Endowed Scholarship for Nursing at Tuskegee University, ensuring a lasting impact on aspiring healthcare professionals. Her service extends to organizations like the National Scleroderma Foundation, PACE Center for Girls (where she served as Board Chair), the Association of Corporate Counsel, and the annual Waukegan Township HBCU Tour.

Within Alpha Kappa Alpha and the Ivy Enrichment Foundation, Stakeholder Frederick has lent her expertise to several committees, including Constitution & Bylaws, Connection & Social Action, Sisterly Relations, Economic Empowerment, and Strategic Planning. Her commitment to service, leadership, and scholarship embodies the very essence of an Illuminated Ivy.
